Senior Capstone Showcase Highlights Student Growth and School Pride

Nathan Hale-Ray High School recently welcomed families, staff, and community members to its annual Senior Capstone Expo where seniors proudly presented the culmination of months of research, job exploration, creativity, and hands-on learning.

The event highlighted the wide variety of interests and future career paths being explored by the Class of 2026, with projects ranging from environmental conservation and physical therapy to entrepreneurship, engineering, education, and the arts.

Throughout the evening, students demonstrated professionalism and confidence as they shared their work with visitors and answered questions about their experiences. The expo reflected the school’s continued emphasis on personalized learning and real-world application, giving students an opportunity to dive deeply into subjects they are passionate about while building communication and presentation skills.

Several projects were recognized for outstanding achievement, including awards for “Best in Show” and “Most Aesthetically Pleasing,” but the event as a whole celebrated the dedication and effort shown by the entire senior class. The gymnasium was filled with energy, creativity, and school pride as students supported one another and showcased the work they had accomplished throughout the year.

The week also concluded with one of the final pep rallies of the school year, bringing students together to celebrate school spirit, recognize accomplishments, and enjoy time as a community before the busy end-of-year schedule begins. Between the Capstone Expo and the pep rally, the atmosphere throughout Hale-Ray reflected a strong sense of connection, pride, and celebration of student success.
